研究员、博士、博士生导师、上海交通大学特聘教授、国家杰出青年科学基金获得者,SPIE(国际光学工程组织)Fellow(会士)。

1993年于中国科技大学物理系光电子技术专业获学士,1999年获美国加州大学Irvine分校生物物理学博士,1999-2001年在哈佛大学医学院从事博士后研究。2001-2006年任哈佛大学医学院研究助理教授。2006年回国,任复旦大学生物医学研究院研究员、副院长,化学系教授,获得国家杰出青年科学基金、教育部新世纪优秀人才、科技部973国家重大基础研究计划、国家传染病重大专项、国家自然科学基金、上海市曙光学者、上海市浦江人才计划等项目资助。共发表NATUREPNASSCI论文70余篇,他引800余次。获得国家医疗注册证一项,国内外专利四项。主要研究在体荧光光学分子影像与探针技术。

 

主要研究方向:

1.可用于肿瘤光学早期检测的在体流式图像细胞仪

2.在体肿瘤光学分子影像及近红外纳米光学探针技术;

3.高时空分辨的蛋白质功能光学成像研究;

4.激光医学与疾病的光治疗技术。

Prof. Xunbin Wei, M.D., Ph.D

 

Professor Xunbin Wei obtained his Ph.D. in Biophysics from University of California at Irvine in 1999. He had been a Postdoctoral researcher at Harvard Medical School, and a faculty member at Wellman Center for Photomedicine, Harvard Medical School.  He joined Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) and currently is the head of the optical molecular imaging lab and distinguished professor in School of Biomedical Engineering.  Prof. Wei has authored and co-authored more than 60 papers in peer reviewed scientific journals, including Nature, PNAS, and lately Nature Communications. One medical device invented by him has won Chinese SFDA Approval. In 2014, Prof. Wei was elected as SPIE Fellow (Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers).

 

Research interests:

1.in vivo optical imaging for cancer and immune system;

2. multi-mode molecular probes for in vivo imaging.
