覃文新,男,196312月生,博士,研究员,博士生导师。

 现任上海市肿瘤研究所副所长、癌基因及相关基因国家重点实验室研究团队负责人。1985年毕业于武汉大学生物系生物化学专业,获理学学士学位,1994年在苏州医学院获医学硕士学位,1998年在上海医科大学获医学科学博士学位,2007年至2008年,在美国系统生物学研究所从事访问研究。目前主持国家973课题1项、国家自然科学基金课题2项等。研究成果以通讯作者发表在Lancet Oncology《柳叶刀肿瘤学》、Journal of Hepatology《肝脏学杂志》、Cancer Research《癌症研究》、Oncogene《癌基因》等有影响力的国际杂志,出版《肿瘤微环境》学术译著1部。获美国专利2项(第一完成人)、中国专利3项(第一完成人)。入选上海领军人才和上海市优秀学科带头人计划(A类),享受政府特殊津贴。

Section of Tumor Microenvironment  

 Prof.Wenxin Qin, Ph.D.               

 

Prof. Wenxin Qin received his B.Sc. from Wuhan University in 1985 and Ph.D. from Shanghai Medical University in 1998. From 1985 to 1998, his research work was mainly involved in brain tumors (such as glioma, etc.) in Suzhou Medical College. In 1998, he joined the State Key Laboratory of Oncogenes and Related Genes in Shanghai Cancer Institute and investigated molecular mechanism of hepatocellular carcinoma using functional genomics technology. Currently, research interests in his lab are focused on cancer biomarker discovery, early diagnosis for cancer, cancer metastasis, and tumor microenvironment. His lab found DKK1 (Dickkopf-1), as a cancer serum protein biomarker, had satisfactory diagnostic and prognostic values for HCC, lung cancer, etc (The Lancet Oncology 2012, Journal of Hepatology 2009, Clinical Chemistry 2009, Patents 2005/2006/2012). The patent "Use of DKK1 protein in the cancer diagnosis" was approved by the United States Patent and Trademark Office and the State Intellectual Property Office of the People’s Republic of China. He first reported that vacuolar H+-ATPase (V-ATPase), which regulates the pH of tumor microenvironment, could enhance the invasion and metastasis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) (Oncogene 2013, Cancer Research 2007, Cancer Research 2005).
